Bailey Family

Ahhh...we've finished extra curricular for the school year! We went last Thursday to dance class (last one - just for pictures) and to PTA (yep, the same night, of course, and overlapping in time too). The PTA we attended because they've started doing a film festival at the end of the year to award students with some of the best video projects in each subject. The twins were both nominated in a class project and Kaitlyn was also nominated for a small group project. Alee was bored to death the 30 minutes we were there and complained often because she wasn't going to be getting anything and it was close to bedtime. The class group project got a runner up (ribbons), and Kaitlyn's small group project won in its category. (She got this cheap little plastic trophy the everyone wants to win.) I wish we could have entered Natalie's butterfly video from last summer - it would definitely have won an award in a school video competition. Since we had to be dressed up for...

Spring is here - and so are the critters that go with that season! (They tried to help the lizard out of the porch, but in the end someone accidentally took off its tail. I hear the tail will grow back on lizards. Hope that's true.) My little animal lovin' children. We also stopped on the way home from church on Mother's day to help a turtle who'd only made it half way across the road finish crossing safely. Natalie's new swimsuit - I can't get all the projects done I used to when they were little, but I do manage to fit in the ones they care about most. I told her last year I would sew a custom swimsuit for her (exactly what she wanted), so I did. After two months of the fabric and pattern sitting on my table. (She wanted dress style, but one piece, sleeves, and flattering.) She looks cute in circle skirt at an empire waist (so I altered the pattern to fit what she likes).
