Time to go to the BEACH! It took a little convincing to get Alee and Kaitlyn to the ocean -  Kaitlyn was afraid of jellyfish  (which are often seen on our coast, but not usually during mid morning) Alee was afraid of sharks (haha...also have been seen, especially near the pier, but not in ankle deep water) The little waves... and the big ones  The sky was as beautiful as the ocean Relaxing...(there were not many moments of this calm with 5 kids) :) Building Sandcastles Collecting shells Time to go home  The Pool - learning new things Alee learned to get off the steps and "hop" through the water  (she learned she could just reach anywhere the sign said "just three by itself" - that is "3 ft") :) Seth and Kaitlyn learned to do flips. Kaitlyn learned to do handstands. Carolyn tried those a little, but her big new thing was she learned to float on her back. Natalie kept to above...

Rob's parents took the family (our family, his sister's family, and parents, of course) to Great Wolf Lodge back in December for a Christmas vacation. Everyone had so much fun (except Natalie only had a taste of fun since she was in the bed sick most of the time) that she decided to go for a mini-vacation this summer. We also had Rob's aunt & uncle and another close (like family) friends join us...very short - but we loaded up on fun every waking moment! Lots of water time Magiquest fun  I had given my oldest three girls a beachy-bohemian hairstyle before we left Friday morning to last the 2 days.
