Happy Thanksgiving

Image
We had a quiet thanksgiving...I did take pictures, but they're not that interesting. This morning though, I found this on the kitchen table - I thought it was cute and fit the season (even though it's specifically to Grammy, I'll share it with all): Translation: Dear Grammy, thank you for the fuzzy socks! (with a picture of a fuzzy sock - don't know what the GCS is for - Grammy Carolyn Seth?? - probably Carolyn's attempt before Seth wrote her message for her.)

Happy (early) Birthday Carolyn!

Image
Just born (the first picture is “Black Friday” – I was nuts! I can’t believe I took her out shopping at like 8 days old!) not this year baby!   Carolyn is 1. Carolyn is 2 (and had a bad hair year!) Carolyn is 3. Carolyn is 4. Carolyn is now 5!  well, she will be tomorrow! But I’ll be in labor, and I will not feel like or be able to post anything for her. Will took my camera to the fair, so home pictures are still on Rob’s old phone – he’ll have to get them off later.) The next night, we made sugar cookies (“shape cookies”). That is a rare occasion around here b/c cleaning up flour and icing after kids – not so fun. Jared was very meticulous about icing his – note his face when Kristen tried to get insider info from “the artist” on what the icing designs were meant to be! Beth tired of being pregnant (this is 8 months/36 weeks) – I am now 37 and 2 weeks away from induction – yea! The next night we went over to a friends and did jack-o-lanterns (kids drew with markers on little ones). Seth drew the face for the big one and Rob did the carving (I didn’t want to get down on the floor and I don’t like using a knife past cooking – he gets the jack-o-lantern job!) ...
