(I made pizza dough and then Seth and Carolyn rolled out their own little pizzas, topped them, and then (after I cooked them), ate them. The babies each got 1/4 of one of the older kids' pizzas. Carolyn eating Seth and his other friend Hayden (who moves today) Kaitlyn likes to stretch. Natalie likes to smile.

A Long Holiday Blog

Christmas: Rob's family came to us (which was nice b/c we decided we would not haul three packs of diapers, two babies worth of bottles/formula, etc, and all the presents). The normal stuff we've learned to handle, but not with LOTS of presents! (And the kids got riding things this year, so it wouldn't have fit had we wanted it to.) Christmas Eve we opened presents from each other and after the kids went to bed, we watched the play of "The Forgotten Carols". It was really good (play on DVD I mean). Christmas Day, "Santa" had a bike with training wheels for each big kid and ride ons (that were actually from Saba and Nonny) for each baby. The babies mostly played around the ride ons, but we have showed them how to push behind them this week and they were so cute giggling and happily squealing behind them (walking behind them!). At lunch, things took a turn for the worse when Seth lost his breakfast in front of his lunch! (The afternoon was pretty much down...

Rob's version of the sickness

So, on Monday when we were all feeling terrible, Rob wrote an email to Will (my brother in Chile who checks email every week on Monday). This is the email: Willis (and family), So it started with Seth- he puked a whole bunch on Christmas day, right at the dinner table. Then, Kaitlyn caught it and was tossing her cookies left and right for a day or two. I called Grammy and warned her that we'd be bringing sickness into the NMB condo, but she said we'd just pray hard. Well, evidently we don't have quite enough faith, because David woke up at 2 last night (this morning) and lost his lunch in the bathroom. No, not in the toilet- all in the bathroom. EVERYWHERE! Poor ole granddaddy was mopping up vomit for about an hour last night. In the meantime, Grammy was on the pot making crap soup. And has whipped up many more servings since then. While all the lysol was flying (your Dad cleaning), Beth was in the bed with me moaning about stomach pains. I told her to convince herself it w...
