Merry Christmas

Image
(Notice Seth missing in this fall picture...Seth was working -an all day raking job this day.) We actually all have matching pajamas; some are hard to see with so many piled on the bed. (Grateful for so many!) (We'll have an Edwards family picture at new years post later.) If you haven't gotten our Christmas card (or don't get our card) by new years, let us know. I sent them late and my labels weren't super sticky... Hopefully they all make it! {update 1/3/21: So far, 2 cards have come back without address labels.} I posted our recital today on YouTube. If you'd like to see the videos, email me for the links. (The twins are still dragging their feet about recording, and Carolyn's video is from my monthly piano recording for her school record, so she's in relaxed style. I'll add missing kids later.) It's been an odd year with challenges and changes and unexpected blessings and lessons. We feel grateful for those blessings and lessons and the strengt...

Gideon is 2. Enough said.  (OK, I'll add a little more.) He talks a lot...and well. (He can't say "L" sounds and others, but he knows SO many words and speaks in full sentences, with much opinion.) Her room is never the neatest in the house, but we love her just as she is. Kaitlyn loves music. Like, she's obsessed. Like, really. For realsies. If it makes sound, she can master it. Her conquests this year have be...

Wondering where we've been since early March? Me too! The year is flying past (the year of my kids' lives...the school year can go as fast as it wants!) Here is what we've been up to... Performances (can you find the twins?) Room cleaning and organizing Learning new skills (pulled up for the first time)  Trying things that are a little too hard (letting go and standing alone - 8 months old this day) Remembering Learning new games (peek-a-boo) Taking notes (on the window - see the planets?) Helping family (Besides our own, this is the 2nd table Rob has helped build - he is the "overseer" to guide through the process; my brother did most of the work.) Having fun church activities Carolyn and her friend actually won the 3-legged race (which is surprising since Carolyn is my most slow-moving child when we're "racing" to get ready and out the door!) Making messes (as usual for Alee) (Face paint don...
