Christmas project for mom  (Sewing machine cover for the odd shaped machine she has) Activities at Mom's house: Caroling Shopping Making Gingerbread Houses Park Time Decorating Christmas Plates  (with Sharpies - it was kind of a Pinterest-fail in the end because it was not permanent and it faded in re-baking, but they are still cute and I'll try again and we'll still use them) Venus time (Christmas Eve) We got low on wrapping paper, so my SIL's got wrapped by my  husband with one strip of wrapping paper over the top of the box. My brother-in-law's is the awesome stick-in-a-box (yard tool). We used over 4 rolls of wrapping paper this year! (Not so much from more presents but from mostly using larger [amazon] boxes to wrap so  many things.)  Decorated for Christmas Natalie and Kaitlyn were in a little play at school that finished out the session of clubs (they were in drama club): The wizard of oz. It was very low key, more like a readers theater, so the costumes were also expected to be low key and nothing complicated for parents. Kaitlyn was Dorothy and Natalie was both auntie Em and a flying monkey. The teacher in charge is a friend of mine and told me i didn't need to make a costume for either, just use what we had around the house. But wearing some random dress out of the closet (Kaitlyn) or nothing at all special (Natalie) was not going to work for my costume-loving twins! :) Plus, it mostly is made from what we have around the house.
