Thanksgiving 2015

I love to drive in the fall.

Here is a picture journal of what we did over Thanksgiving (with Rob's family at his mom's house).

At home, we made a poster all month long, adding to it - what we are thankful for. In the past, I've done a "Thankful Tree", but I didn't have time to mess with craftiness this year, so we kept it simple! I wrote very little, even though I have so much to be thankful for, so that there would be lots of room for the kids to write whatever they wanted. It was fun to watch what they wrote.

Here is the original and a translation (because my little kindergartner has interpretive spelling).

I like to let her try, and they say it's good for them because then they can read back to you what they wrote. (Alee could only remember what she had written if I asked her withing a day of writing it.
So, some of these are my guesses based on what I know about her reading/writing abilities.)
