We attended Country Western Day at the elementary school where the kids showed off their dancing skills (learned in PE).

(She also sang Happy Birthday to Me...but had a little trouble with the blowing candles - Daddy helped.)

Saba and Nonny came to visit.

Carolyn and a friend from church had a joint birthday party 

(western theme...we're all about that western theme this month!)

And Alee decided she wanted snow in november.

(After the 2nd snowfall that day, Mommy got smart and put the powder up higher.)

 Thanksgiving in Little River with Grammy and Granddaddy

Uncle Will insisted the turkey be left whole until time for dinner and that real china and crystal be used.

(Beth would have been content with dixie plates)

He did do a great job with a thanksgiving video for us all to watch at the end of the weekend.

Some time with little Thomas...who is potentially afraid of my very loud active children.

 Alee liked him though.

From top to bottom, they're a handful...or a stairful...but they're so fun.

Time to trim the tree.

Every year, I plan activities to do each day before Christmas to countdown - I'll post a picture for each activity we do this month (at least that's the goal!) :) and keep you updated.

This week's activities:

1. Make gingerbread men (and women).

2. Go see The Living Christmas Story (drive through Nativity at Union United Methodist Church)

3. Make gingerbread house. 

(don't think I'm crazy - some of our activities are simple, like "watch Christmas movie")
