Life Lessons

2nd post of the day

After my post about my brilliant ideas to be a fun mom again (yeah, I lost that title about the time we moved in here - a year ago)...

The twins decided instead of naptime, they would do something more fun - like knock a shelf off the wall, bringing down (and breaking) a teaset with it (among other things).
I was mad (I didn't totally lose my cool and they endured 10 minutes in the corner - and are now finishing nap, take 2.) But they knew I was mad. (Do I want to be a fun mom?)

Kaitlyn asked in the car line, "Mom, can you be nice to me again?" (what does that mean?) She said something about being happy to her. (I'll think about it.) "Mom, can you talk to Dad about that when you get home?" (about what? about being happy to you?) "Yes." (Oh, you want me to forgive you.) "yes."

And I do/did.
