Easter, etc .
OK, this will catch up everything that’s been going on (well, at least whatever’s been photographed) in the past few weeks since the last post!
We went over to a friend’s house to dye eggs. Seth wanted to know why we “die” eggs when they’re not alive to begin with. This is the same friend we carved pumpkins with in October…without her, we would “barely celebrate” the holidays…I just can’t handle messy traditions and twins by myself…maybe in a few years!
Alee was just cute…and is getting more curious
Mmm….soup in breadbowls….yuk – rice cereal!
Isn’t that sweet? I love my cuddly kids…
We went to play rock band/beetles rock band at a friends’ house
(I love my “new friends”, but I miss seeing the “old ones” across town)
We are GONNA lose this weight and get in shape…(walking to pick up Seth) – it’s less than a mile, but mostly uphill the way there – and Carolyn finally can walk more than a block before tiring out…too bad I don’t have a triple stroller
Only 2 baskets survived last Easter, so we paper machéd eggs (balloons) and painted them for the Easter bunny to stuff prizes in (If we repeat that – I’LL do the paper maché and paint, and they can color with crayons!) Crafts aren’t such a good idea now that the twins are in the picture… (and I LOVE our huge vegetation filled yard for hiding eggs!) We hid about 100 and I think I could have hid another couple hundred easily!
She was just cute in this bonnet (note the bracelet and pacifier clip…I buy stuff for crafts and then don’t do the crafts…I finally got to these – the jewelry was actually bought for the twins over a year ago and I wanted to make pacifier clips for them, but never “got around to it”…oh well, good thing Alee came along so I could craft for her!)
Memere sent the princess and the frog, so we watched it (yes, I sat down and watched it to…and ignored the laundry) – who could resist that bowl of caramel popcorn…that’s the bowl I used to use as a kid for popcorn!
And today Carolyn was playing with Seth’s ipod (Rob’s sister let Seth have her old one that is not so fancy) – and was really liking the song she found and was giggling and listening to it over and over again, but she didn’t know the name of it. I LAUGHED when she brought it over – it was the USC fight song!
GO COCKS!
