Conversation in the Van

So, here's a little conversation I had with Carolyn in the van. I nearly fell off the couch laughing trying to tell Jared and Kristen...you really need to hear Carolyn's tone of voice, but this will have to do:

Carolyn: Mom, What would you do if you were a raindrop?

(I'm thinking, 'um, fall to the ground and disappear'...not really getting the question)
Beth: I don't know. What would you do?
Carolyn: I would just sit in the cloud and relax. NOW, do you know what you would do?

Beth: Probably fall to the ground.

Carolyn: No, I think you would fall on a dump truck and slip right off.

What exactly is she saying??!!

hahahahhaha...that was even funny reading it.....maybe she thinks that you fall off trash easily?????...I'm not sure where she was going with that one but it sure did give me a good laugh! Thanks for sharing...and Carolyn...I love you!

I think she sees her Momma as one who will rise to the ocasion no matter what! You would slide right off that dump truck and get up and keep going! How wise our babies are sometime! she is her mama made over and I love you both dearly!

Let me see, I have alot of time to think at the moment so... I believe Carolyn is saying she doesn't really like alot of change and will just stay put in the cloud where it is safe and easy and she can relax. As for you, she probably sees that you have to tackle whatever comes your way so you will just have to deal with the dump truck (whatever mess you fall in to)but you will slip right off and it will all be good again.
Anyway, that was how I saw it.
Children always amaze me with their pondering!
I am so blessed to have the greatest little grandchildren!

Beth...I was reading this to Jeff and he said to tell you that he thinks Carolyn probably saw some raindrops falling off of a dumptruck and it sounded good to her at the moment..hahaha! He doesn't get much into deep pondering..for him, it is what seems the most logical!
