Snow Day

8:30 this morning

My angels making Snow Angels

9 AM Breakfast:
It was pretty chilly out, so we didn't stay out long.
Seth even asked for "hot cocoa" and wanted his poptart in the microwave (he usually wants them straight out of the package and doesn't even know they go in the toaster!)

(pancakes for girls, poptart for Seth, homemade bagel for mommy...no kidding - I made them last night with my new bread machine)
11:15 (after cleaning the house)
Yeah, it's completely melted from all yards and most roofs, but there was enough snow on the plastic toys and Rob's car to make some snowballs and a snowbear. (Carolyn has an 'ice flower' Seth found...a twig with tiny icicles on it.)

Maybe I'll post a video later. (At this point the flakes were huge and whirling everywhere, but they didn't show up in the pictures. And now, a few sparse flakes are falling and there's nothing sticking anywhere.) Oh well...it was nice while it lasted!
And now, "we" have to go to school on March 12th to make up today. (nuts - that would have been a good zoo day with Seth home)  It's nice having them all home and not having to go to school or be on a schedule...but I know it's necessary, b/c I'm too lazy to homeschool!

They look so cute. I know they loved going out to play. (By the time I got home from work all the snow was gone except for a little on the roof.) Neat that you can make bagels! See you soon.

um Beth...you may not be the homeschooling type but you are not and could NEVER be classified as lazy! I want a demo of that bagel making bread machine...in a year or two when we are finished with the Jenny Craig thing!

Cool bagel...I am like Aunt Libbi...lazy is NOT a word I would associate with you! I'm so glad the kids had fun outside! It was fun in the snow!
