Busy Week

I'm having trouble focusing on what I'm supposed to be doing right now (my lesson for relief society on Sunday), so I'm posting something really quick for a break.

The video is of the twins (mostly Kaitlyn) singing. She can sing (yes, I mean she knows about half the words to the songs) "I am a child of God" and "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam" and at least the "go" part of "The wheels on the bus" (meaning she knows, "round and round" or "swish swish swish" or "beep beep beep")...oh, and "Once there was a snowman" and I think she can fake a few others. She was making noises in a singsong voice last Sunday while we were singing hymns...I think I have another little music lover! (yea!)
I apologize for my "singing" (which was more like talking)...I only sing in groups; I don't do duets, but Kaitlyn doesn't do solos, so she needed a partner that could help her with the words. :) I hope you can hear her over Natalie's babbling (she talks as much as I do...at least I speak English!)

Funny remarks recently:
Beth: "Seth, what does the clock say?"
Natalie: "Gobble Gobble!" (guess she still had thanksgiving on her mind!)

Kaitlyn (all the time): "TRICK OR TREAT!" (didn't someone tell her Halloween is over?)

A familiar storeclerk, in reference to Kaitlyn: "She's got some fat legs." :) (yeah she does!)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm having an odd day...I have a lot to do (unless you compare me to other people who have more to do)....and it's not that I feel overwhelmed, but what I feel like doing are the less important things rather than the ones that I know should take priority...do you ever feel that way?  Actually, this is one of the lesser priorities, but I'm "splurging" with my time for a few minutes to break. (OK, back to what I sat down to do...before I start feeling guilty for putting it off longer!)

That is so cute! A thought just hit me, they are all most two! I still think of them as babies! It has been a while since I have seen them in person! They are so cute together! I wish my baby would never grow up, can't we have a baby forever??? I am glad she still has her fat legs, they are cute! And don't tell me your busy, what 4 children? hehehe! I miss our zoo trips, they seemed to be a good break!
Is it just me or does Kaitlyn sound awfully similar to a 2 year old Jared?

It is always good to take breaks and it is ok to do those things that may not be on the top of the priority list but sure make the rest of us smile! I loved my future little singing star! Too bad she would not let Natalie perform very long.

Unfortunately I find myself doing that too much. Especially when I have something to do on the computer.

Ok, I couldn't watch the video because I'm at work but I will have to watch it when I get home. Also, I just have to say that you basically described how the rest of the world that isn't as organized as you feels all the time! haha. I always "give in" to the less important things, so I say take a break when you need to!

i was beginning to think claire was some kind of prodigy. i'm glad you posted this so i didn't go around looking dumb. i guess that's what happens when kids talk when they're supposed too! she was too cute, and the kids loved singing with her! about the dresses, i made a somewhat long reply post that got lost in the computer somewhere when i went to post it, so long story short...i got them at old navy on clearance at the end of the season. since they were dresses i could fudge on the sizes a little.
