Tolerable Messes

This is the first time trying out cloth diapers. I actually think I like them. I just can't decide which of the two kinds I want to invest in...?
She refused to turn around and look because she was mad at me for something.
(She was puttin' her 'raider' on, Jacob.)

Aren't they cute? :) (Kaitlyn's is an "all in one" so once she pees, that's it til I wash it. Natalie's is just a cover, so I can wipe it out and use it a few times a day. Usually, she doesn't even pee enough for the cover to get wet at all. After she peed in it today, she undid the velcro herself. Shame she didn't just go ahead and change herself while she was at it!)

I say, please don't go in the puddles. Then they do. And they're so cute, I have to go get the camera. (No wonder they ignore me and get into the puddles - what am I teaching them by taking pictures?!) At least Seth and Carolyn ask permission first.
Gotta have the purse and the water! (right Grammy?)
Well, what's a few more outfits in the laundry...I'm growing to not really care that my washer and dryer pretty much run nonstop. Anyone want me to do a load? (sorry, no ironing)

The pink clogs are perfect puddle jumpers! Cute with the purse and water too. I love the cloth diapers, probably lot softer on the bottom and less wrinkly.
And, yes the laundry will probably keep piling for quite a few years, but thats ok. The years really go by fast. I loved those years!
Regarding Seth and the skateboard...I had a batman skateboard at about 5 yrs. old. Adam and I would ride down Barb's driveway (sometimes standing up). There is a great incline just up from your house. He's old enough.

Hey! I'm glad you found my blog. I love getting more blogs to watch!
And I know what you mean about telling them no and then they do and then you take pictures. Mine isn't that old, but I've seen it with others and I know I'm gonna do the same thing!

My thoughts about the skateboard are, if he's a major perfectionist and not coordinated enough to do it, I'd wait till next year, but if he's one of those kids who can just have fun with it and not drive himself crazy because he can't get it right, then go for it. (I have a kid in each category, so that's from my perspective.)

I like the cloth diapers, I just didn't want to wash all the time because I did enough laundry anyway (or so I thought) and then they got bigger and the laundry is bigger..hahahaha! I love the puddle jumping..kids just can't resist a good puddle. Enjoy these days even though they are filled with laundry and sometimes frustration...they go by so quickly! Then you have to deal with teenagers, and moodiness..all that fun stuff!

I loved cloth diapers and loved the covers you could reuse...but then I also had a diaper service to wash them because my neighbor gave me 3 month's service with Andrew and Patti!!! I might not have liked it if I had had to wash them!!!! (All I bought were the covers which had velcro closures!)
