Our little Natalie

She's underweight (like flat-lining on the weight chart), so the doctor told me to try to increase her calories  - he specifically suggested carnation instant breakfast, pediasure, ice cream, and peanut butter.

So, we're doing our part - here she is with her own little cup of real butter!
(OK, just kidding - we had these leftover from ordering in when family visited last, so we pulled them so the kids could butter their own rolls without 'germifying' our tub of butter -well, spread - I don't like real butter.  Natalie just decided to lick the butter off the roll before she ate it and then finish off the cup of butter.) haha...any other butter fans? :)

going through life as an underweight human is rarely accepted by modern american culture as a rough life. i disagree. i like food, i eat it regularly, and most times, i eat more than most people. i go weeks without exercise, and to no progress, still a twig. and at steady weight lifting, still no mass, no muscle, no strength, only hair in my case. that's about the only thing that grows on me. so see, i have weight issues too, as does natalie. oh well.

I love pediasure. I've tried the carnation instant breakfast. Never going back. If you do get pediasure get vanilla. Thats what I drink. (I'm a butter fan too)

Im with ya Jakey! GO small people!!
"You can't ever be too skinny or too rich." Furthermore, real butter is healthier than margarine/spread. Compare the nutrition facts and ingredient lists.
ah, some butter fans :) (i only use it to cook b/c i honestly think it is tasteless...but i will admit, i won't bake with anything less!)

margarine and spread is very tasteless...pure creamy salted butter is fabulous...i do not have any of Jacob's genes and there is a reason I weigh 260 pounds...I eat a pound of real butter, a quart of Hellman's mayo and a dozen eggs every week of my life (and rolls and ice cream and LOTS of CHEESE!!!!!)

Hahaha...Libbi that is me...I don't know where Jacob got his genes...those Edwards I am sure...and Beth, I wish I had small genes but like Aunt Libbi, my weight is because I eat all the fattening and unhealthy foods I can find! Beth...I loved your response to Jacob and you are absolutely right...we all CAN do our part...thanks for sharing your idea, I knew it would be a good one!

I always think of Ninna when someone talks about butter. She always had that pretty silver dish and would put her round real whipped butter on it with her fancy butter knife for all to enjoy with the meal. She was definitely a butter fan. I think Libbi probably got her love for butter there! It does beat the greasy yellow margarine.
Well I am an Edwards, and I am not a twigg! It is the Edwards boys that stay skinny! Think about it! None of them are fat! I on the other hand have had 2 children! I also like butter! So do my girls! They sometimes eat it without food!(We dip things into butter at our house)
