Interesting tidbits

Some information about what's going around around here (yes, other than the room change):

While painting the shelves, we let the kids paint the prototype Rob made with finger paint. Carolyn got mad at the fly flying around, "That dagumit fly!"

Kaitlyn peepeed on the potty Sunday night. (yeah, you read that right) She kept telling me she needed to pee pee, ok it was more like she grabbed her crotch and yelled "peePEE, peePEE", so after about 3-4 times of taking her out of the bathtub and sitting her on the potty, I noticed that there was a little puddle of peepee in the little potty seat.
Two things on potty seats:

1. I hate them. I refused to buy one with Seth and Carolyn b/c I think they're disgusting to clean. But...if these are the results I get, I SO am changing my mind!! If you have a baby under 2, go get one! (not that I think she'll potty train any earlier, but if it's not like pulling teeth to convince her to go, then it was so worth its $15!! and I might go buy another one with the next paycheck so Natalie will stop pushing Kaitlyn off!)

2. How do you clean the thing? (Yes, I know how to wipe something with a clorox wipe or swoosh bleach in it...I mean what's the quickest easiest way to clean the thing...clorox wipes will get pricey when I've got two of them peeing in the thing 6 times a day next year!)

I celebrated this little miracle (knowing it probably wo'nt happen again for months) and Carolyn stopped my little happy song-and-dance with, "I peepeed on the potty too, but you couldn't hear it b/c the bathtub water was running!" (haha - so I had to praise her too)

Kaitlyn prefers the colored cereal pieces and marshmallows and she does not prefer the pretzels that are broken.

So that's Carolyn and Kaitlyn...let me see...do I have anything to say about Seth and Natalie?

Oh, yes, We went over to visit a friend that had twins recently for ourFHE last night. (which by the way, we will never do again - I have monsters for children that can't behave themselves - ANYWHERE!) As soon as we went over to look in and see the babies, Natalie wanted to CLIMB into the basinet to get to them. (She even tried to get one out, but I said NO.) She was so cute/wild (frightening) "BeeBEE BeeBEE! BaBY!" She wanted to touch them so bad - which we discouraged as much as we could (we did want the babies to keep their vision!) She tried to do "gentle" on their heads, but we had to hold her hand to control the speed of hers. (Yes, I'm glad there is no baby on the way right now in our family, b/c I would be afraid for its safety!) She loved them though.

And Seth...I'm having trouble thinking of something good to say b/c he can't follow directions right now (ok, all the time now), and that is driving me crazy...and after having to clean "Plumbob" (the stuffed dog of Carolyn's that he got glue all over two weeks ago), I'm not real happy with him today. I guess what's good is that he can do his whole morning routine by himself (even if it does take him like an hour to do it!)...we've got to work on that before school starts!

I've now wasted an hour and a half of the babies' nap reading/writing blogs, cleaning up lunch, and listening to "Meteor and the mighty monster trucks" and "Wilbur", so I'd better go get something productive done!
