Ok, now for some fun!

This is so much longer than I originally intended it to be!

Mom has me as an author on her blog (although I've never added anything) from when she first started it and thought she might need help. So I started uploading pictures and realized I was posting on her blog! Oops! (Mom, remove me as an author. You don't need help anymore on it and you may end up with a posting from Columbia by accident sometime!)

So, Natalie is not really better, but she napped well, so I at least got the house cleaned up. She's really cuddly and likes to rock when she's sick (it's cute and pitiful at the same time.)

Anyways. here are videos and pictures since the last time I've uploaded something...most are within the last few days.

Potty Training already?
Natalie tries it out.Kate wants a turn; Natalie says not yet.
Mommy says it's Kate's turn.
I'm pretty sure she would miss if she tried right now!

(No, we're not really potty training yet...we just wanted to get them used to the idea and the potty so that the fight might not be so bad later this year or next year!) Natalie actually refuses to sit on it now, so no fight over it! (We only bought one b/c I wanted to see if I liked it before I bought two.) Kaitlyn sits on it all the time.

She's discovered something else she likes in the bathroom:
Carolyn wants this plunger to be painted pretty (like mine - Mom painted the stick to match my shower curtain when Rob and I got married.)

Hungry? (Always)
The big kids help Suzie (rob's aunt) make dinner.

The babies had popsicles...time to rinse off some sticky. (Natalie started out sitting beside the sink, then got in, then Kaitlyn joined her.) Oh, they are wearing diapers here; you just can see them for the belly roll! haha
Look! a blue potato! (It's supposed to be like this. A friend of mine who gardens - a lot - ordered some of these to grow and gave one each to the kids.)

Some snots. You can't really see the drool and snot drenched outfit and all the clear (thank goodness it's clear) snot all over the bottom half of her face. Doesn't she look unhappy?

Seth and Kaitlyn just playing around.
We got to church early tonight for a baptism so Rob could fill up the font with water. So, we let the kids play in the gym (usually the nursery on Sundays, so all the toys are in there). Carolyn wanted to perform. She can be so anti-social, but she's loves to be center of attention; I just don't get her sometimes.

Here is this morning's performance. She came out of her bedroom singing this, so I put her on a stool and got out the camera. So funny (I think this is a save-the-world song from a kid channel; something about saving water.) :)

This is from tonight in the church gym. So funny. She wanted to dance. I think she would really like a dance class, and now that she's potty trained she's fulfilled the only requirement I have. (But dance classes are really expensive so if she doesn't mention it, we won't mention it!)

Seth started throwing the basketball at the goal (like a little kid could make it in one of those things). Then he did! And he did again! And about 1 out of every 10 times he made it. Then about 1 out of every 5. Then, it was about 1/2 to 1/3 of the shots he made, he got! (Perhaps I should have let him play basketball this summer afterall? But then again, "money money money!" Same - we won't mention it until he does!) I don't want him in any extra curricular during his first semester of school anyways. One big adjustment at a time. I think school will be enough of a change for me!

Oh, last night while I was rocking Natalie she kept moaning (high pitched moan) every few seconds. So I recorded it b/c it sounded funny. Notice she has to move the pacifier to make the moan. (I hate that she has to have a constant runny nose. It makes her look like a crusty little orphan kid or something.)

Rob: Carolyn, hurry up!
Carolyn: You already said that!
Rob: I know; you're slow.(This is coming from the master of slow.)

A few minutes later she went to get something:
Rob: 10...
Carolyn: i don't need any counting!
Rob: 9, 8, 7, 6..
Carolyn: See, I didn't need you to count.

Beth: No (to about everything they asked for at walmart this week)
Carolyn: You're a BAD mommy!
Beth: Guess I am [smirk and chuckle]
Seth: I don't think you're a bad mommy. I think you're a good mommy.
(And you know, although I said no to what he wanted, he didn't change his mind about me being a good mommy...so I said yes to the next thing he asked for!)

Good books to check out:
I Wanna Iguana (note: there is a big 8 legged thing on page 4)
Fancy Nancy (check this one out girls!)
The Best Nest

Everytime I think I'm done, I think of something else cute I want to put...Seth made this today. (I was pretty furiuos about the nail hole he put in the side of his bed trying to nail it to the bed, but I was really impressed with his efforts to spell! (I'm so proud of him for wanting to read and write and trying so hard at it.) He pulled the nail out of the wall somewhere and the hammer is plastic, so don't worry that I'm ignoring him while he plays with heavy tools in the garage!

In case you don't read preschooler that says, Pirate Flag. Cute huh?

I can't until ya'll come to play! The babies are getting so big. I love all their toothie smiles. Natalie's moaning is so funny! The potty seat is cute. Love Seth's basketball performance and Carolyn's dance recital and singing presentation.
I will make sure the pantry is full for Katlyn to plunder through.
