Get out the spot shot
So Kaitlyn HATES diaper changes. I noticed today that she laid perfectly still while I took one off and wiped but she freaked out when I tried to put a clean one on and I couldn't get her to stay down (this is usually where I pop her little leg or I hold her down with my extra limb, oh wait - I didn't get one of those, but I should have with twins).
So anyways. I said, "You don't want to wear a diaper?" she shook her head "NO" (this is how we communicate - I ask questions and she shakes her head yes or no until we figure out what she wants). So I said, "Do you want to wear panties?" She shook her head "YES". So, we went in to Carolyn's room, took some (no - NOT the princess ones - that would have been WWIII), and she willingly stepped into them.
I don't know why I'm letting her do this b/c I am like 98% sure she is NOT ready to potty train, but cleaning up pee out of the carpet sounded easier than holding her little fat butt down while she screamed.
So, the kids are all playing on the green chair and giggling (and I think tickling), and I said, "Oh, Kaitlyn's wearing panties so she might pee pee on you." They all burst out laughing (all 4 of them). I just smiled and chuckled too. Seth calmed down, "Are you kidding?"
"No, I'm absolutely serious" I said with a smile.
(Shortly thereafter, the big kids retreated to their room - hahaha.)
(Maybe she'll let me put a diaper on her after she pees all over herself and sees how gross it is...worked great for Carolyn - for about 3 1/2 years actually. haha - j/k She is potty trained now...98% of the time)
