Seth's Lists
Seth has been making 'lists' (like his mother). Here are his two most recent.
Seth's Christmas list: (Yeah, I'm thinking it's a little early too, but for kids, never too early!)
The four pictures are what he wants.
Top left: a stuffed animal turtle
I guess he's given up on me giving him a pet turtle, so stuffed will have to do!
(I'm surpised he didn't draw a dinosaur since that's the one he begged me for at Kohl's last week)...
Top right: a chair for his room that he can sit in while he watches tv
Bottom left: a trashcan for his room (we'll get him that in August when he gets his own room)
Bottom right: (I'm actually embarassed to write that one) He wants a baby doll.
Carolyn has lots and he doesn't have one. (I tried to explain Woody and Buzz were like his dolls - or his ninja turtle action figures, but he didn't buy that!) Maybe he'll forget about that one before Christmas!
(*Note - he was given a doll when Carolyn was born but he never liked it and never played with it. *Update 2013 - I think he would be embarrassed he wanted that - he can't stand all the girls dolls now!)

Seth's To Do List
Obviously, he wants to go to the zoo and the park!
He kept asking me to spell park Saturday night while I was running around trying to get everyone ready for bed and stuff laid out for church the next day (while by the way, Rob was out with the missionaries) , so I didn't ask him why I kept spelling park. Then, Sunday night I found beside the clipboard in my room (where I have my to do list) this little piece of flower note paper from the den with "zoo" and "park" and pictures on it. I guess he wanted to make sure his priorities ended up on my to do list for the week! (And they will.) :)

I think making list must run in the family.
