Made me chuckle

My favorite mispronounced words:
Seth's - renember, as in "I can't renember"
Carolyn's - basquetti, as in "I like cheese on my basquetti, and I don't like meatballs."
Kaitlyn and Natalie mispronounce everything, so I don't have a favorite yet, although I do chuckle everytime Natalie says "Sit"...I'll leave that to your imagination.

Quotes from dealing with Carolyn:
She was pretending her sisters were hamsters and wanting to put them in boxes (chairs at the table).
Beth: Your baby sisters are not hamsters.
Carolyn: But I like hamsters.
Beth: I do too...kind of, but Your baby sisters are not hamsters. They are people.
Carolyn: But I don't like people.

I was telling her to go to the potty for the first time of the day (this is always the most challenging one, although almost everytime I tell her to go to the potty is a battle).
Beth: It's time to go to the potty.
Carolyn: IT'S NOT ON MY LIST!
(Beth: Well, it's on MINE!)
She went. Can't remember if she did it or not?
Peepee can is about 2/3 full. (She gets 1 for peepee, 2 for doodoo, and tonight a new addition, 1 if she goes without being told, which she did!)

And to my family who keep tagging me, I AM going to get around to the ABC thing...it's just the kids are so funny (or aggravating?) that I have so much to say about them! :)

I love your writing about the kids and as for Carolyn's comment about not liking people..she is a girl after her Uncle Jeff's own heart..his favorite line!

As far as Seth's phrase, "I can't renember"...I remember when Emily was very small and she would tell everyone "I can't like that" when she meant "I don't like that". She would say it all the time and even now Jeff's family will still say "I can't like that or I can't like you". We always laughed about that.
