Some old pictures

I actually did the 5 things on that to-do list (see posting "tagged" below). That never happens. Maybe I should put my to-do list on my blog more often!

Some I know have put up old pictures for us to look at, so here are some I had onfile. (The decorated ones were scanned from scrapbooks that my mom made.)

Note: Rob's blog is up and going.

Some pictures from my life
This is a picture of our early dating (we started dating March of 2001, 7 years ago).

This is from May (I think) of 2001.

One of my most favorite memories is going to the beach with my mom's side of the family, which we did several times. Sometimes, one family would go and others would visit, which may have been what happened here. This has all of my cousins that were born at the time except for a few (Heather- out of the house, Kerry's kids - too far away. Sarah Beth, Conner, and Noah not yet born.)

Can you figure out what Edwards cousins these are? I'm the cute one in the white dress. (Doesn't Kashelle look thrilled?)

Did I ever mention what a pain in the butt my brother was when he was little? I deserved every outfit mom/dad bought me, for having to keep him all the time. He's much better now that he's a teenager.
David, wanna watch my four sometime...hehehe?

How on earth did Mom get us ready for church in time to take a picture? I barely get mine all dressed in time. Definitely no time for pictures. Rob hates when I take them after church because the kids hate it.
I love this - 5 kids in front of the 5 trunk tree!

Dad's faces were always so great in family snapshots!

Many memories from growing up have my dad's convenient store in them. Some of my favorites: playing hide-n-seek with my brothers in the backroom climbin' on cases of drinks, the names and people you'd see come in ("Dick Hall", "Crazy cora", "Stimey", seems like someone was "Front" or "backwards" or something like that?), and the endless supply of soda, candy, honey buns, and red hotdogs.

The best family picture we ever took.

My graduation from seminary with some of my high school church friends. My best friend from jr high-high school (maybe earlier) is in the front middle - Cassandra. Mary in purple lives in Sumter with her husband and daughter. Don't know about the other two. Don't know why other friends weren't in the picture?

No comment. Just laugh!

I loved those pictures! I love that beach picture too eventhough I look not so cute. But that was about the last time that I can remember that we were all together when we were still kids/preteens/teens. I miss those days! I loved that we were so close growing up! And that picture of David on the counter made me laugh so hard...love it!
The last picture is of Will (brother), Will Peavy (vising us in NC), and David (about kindergarten age). They were doing some crazy skit they made up...yeah.
That beach picture of most of the cousins from mom's side was probably my favorite of all the beach trips with extended family. Michael was SO cute. I was almost sad to leave and go to youth conference at the end of the week I'd had so much fun!

Beth did you know you are wearing the balarina pinafore in the one that you mentioned: "you were the cute one in the white dress"

Just thought that was interesting now that Carolyn is wearing that!
love mom

I LOVED those pictures and like LaNelle I LOVED that we were so close back in the days before school snuck in and put us on a schedule! It broke my heart when Sarah Beth was 4 and kept asking me "who is that woman?" and it was your mom...now my twins are sharing that kind of closeness with jean's kids...I wish we all lived in a big huge compound!!!!
