My REAL first post

Rob said I wrote the post and he posts them. Actually, the first post Rob even wrote for me (so I did neither the writing nor the posting)...I only edited it and took out sentences I really didn't like and said ok to the rest. Also, I know how to post and do most things on the computer. I'm just lazy and I know he knows how, so I let him. :) Rob just asked me what I was 'blogging' (what a silly-sounding word...yes, I know where it comes from).

Kaitlyn can sit up really well now. I tried to sit up both twins and get a picture, but Natalie's really unstable and falls. Once I finally got her stable, she reached over and pulled Kaitlyn's shirt and pulled her over. Nuts! I'll post a picture anyways. Natalie plays very well by herself for good periods of time. How nice! :)

Carolyn can't say the 'f' sound anymore (example, "one, two, bree, bour, bibe, six, seben, eight, nine, ten") Some th=>f, so now th=>b; others turn into s (like Seth="Ses"). Regardless of how she talks, she talks a lot! She says really cute things.

The kids like to brush my hair (which I enjoy as long as the don't twist the brush in my hair). Carolyn was brushing mine and then on her way to the bathroom, she tried to brush Rob's (his suggestion). She ran the brush over his (bald) head twice, and then declared, "But you don't have any hair!"

Here Carolyn is writing "T R S" (which spells her name...of course!) :) She will tell you her name is Carolyn, but not Louise Bailey (her middle and last name), just Carolyn. And if you ask her how to spell it, she says, "T R S"!

Seth's latest fads are Pirates & Ninja Turtles.

Here he is a ninja turtle...remember them? So, I made him a little mask (not a very good one) and he wears it. The paper towel tube is his sword (I guess that would make him Leonardo...yes, I still know all their names). He has a pirate patch from my mom he uses to be a pirate. I don't know where it is right now, or I'd have him wear that for a picture too!

I'm trying to sew something today...let's see if it is done before next month! I want to finish it this week. (They're 2 little pocket things that hang over the back of the car seats in front of Seth and Carolyn to store stuff.) We're going to Florida next Friday (the 20th) and I want to have them done for the drive....hmmm. (I think I'll expect to not get them done so I'll be all the more excited if it actually happens.) :) Ooops, I meant "not to get them done"...Rob (grammar police) would have pointed out that I split my infinitive.


Did you know it should be "fewer calories" and not "less calories" (fewer when it can be counted and less when it can't....like "less fat" or "fewer grams of fat").
