Catching up on lost time...

Starting to wonder if I fell off the side of the earth? well...Buckle up! You're about to go through 6 months in one post.  .................Ok, maybe I'll split it up a little for you. Call this - Our crazy year, part 1. The school year began and I had high hopes of keeping our house (which was on the market) perfectly clean (because all the kids were in school) and to have lots of time to enjoy my last year doing fun and enriching activities with Alee (because I dropped all other group activities from her schedule that seemed to overwhelm her last year).... And while we did have library day (no storytime, just book time and maybe time on their computers) And time for random fun (like painting nails to match her outfit) And park days (so I could run and she could have some socialization) And an art/learning project here and there Mostly it was chaotic (planned but not consistent) scheduling with a lot more cleaning and unexpected c...

All of August

August FLEW by.  The whole summer flew by. But at least, the only thing we did in August was chill and get ready for school (appointments, shopping, etc). Kids went on adventures with Grandpa and Memere (Boys to train museum, Girls to American Girl paradise).  We went to Edventure Family night ($1/person every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5-8 pm - it's a madhouse, but my kids are young enough to still love Edventure, but old enough to not get lost so easily). It was fun. Can you spot the 5 kids that are ours? :) School started. Fun ended.  Just kidding...we'll try to still have some fun. But we are very structured now. Especially with 2 schools! I needed that structure back. (And Alee needs my 1-on-1 attention for one more year on an hours/day basis like she doesn't get during the summer.) First kid in Middle School. AGGHH (actually, it's not so bad so far...maybe) He's a pro at lockers already...
